The (Cricket) Asia Cup, also known as the AAC Men’s Asia Cup or the ACC Cup, is a cricket competition that features countries from Asia. It is held every two years, with it alternating between Twenty20 and ODI (50 overs) formats. The 2023 edition is in the ODI format.

Afghanistan

The top two teams from the first group stage advance to the Super Fours. This is another group, with all teams playing each other once. The top two sides at the end of the Super Fours group stage compete in the Asia Cup final.

Pakistan is the official host for this year’s event. However, due to India’s reluctance to visit Pakistan, it will play its matches in Sri Lanka. This event was originally scheduled for 2021, but it was pushed back to now because of the Covid pandemic. Sri Lanka are the reigning champions.
